TWIRL — Book Brief

WHAT WATER CAN TEACH US ABOUT LIFE

EXPLORE

Water moves.

It changes form, encounters resistance, finds pathways and continues.

TWIRL uses water as a lens through which to consider movement, change, adaptation and the experience of living.

Life rarely remains exactly as we planned it. Circumstances change. People change. We change.

The question is not simply whether change will happen.

How will we meet it?

Adaptation need not mean surrender.

Changing how we move through circumstances does not necessarily require abandoning who we are.

Resistance contains information.

Obstacles can sometimes reveal where another route, pace or approach is needed.

Movement can take different forms.

Progress is not always a straight line.

• Where in my life am I currently meeting resistance?

• Am I trying to preserve something that circumstances have already changed?

• What would intelligent adaptation look like without abandoning what matters to me?

If change has created a significant decision, explore The Decision Matrix.

If it has caused you to reconsider your direction or values, explore REFLECTIONS.
